Plus-sized models are gaining more and more popularity, thanks to both their charm and fearless striving for self-expression, and the fact that people are realizing how unhealthy it is to be so thin.
Perhaps the modeling business will soon reach a tipping point and will stop discriminating against girls who are slightly larger. But while this hasn’t yet been achieved, let’s take a look at what we mean when we say "plus-sized model." For many of those models who have different proportions, it can be frustrating to have this kind of label foisted on you. Indeed, who could possibly like it and what it implies?
